As we know, cancer results from many factors, viral, chemical, and physical etc. Although human has made much progress in cancer research, we don't know the corresponding exact mechanism of carcinogenesis of different cancers.

Yes everyone is thinking about how to defeat this strong enemy of huminty, and every second person knows that causes and factors are mostly human created, so there is need to work in both directions, controlling the prevailing cancers by continuous struggle like what we are doing these days and even more, and stoping other cancers by reducing the causes and factors by what ways its possible.

Furthermore the etiology of each type of cancer is different, therefore the more the types of cancers the more the comlexities about their etiology and carcinogenesis. So the evolution of cancer is the divergent one and one could not expect any good outcomes as whole but for each type of cancer separately.
