I am looking for individuals and organizations committed to writing a new future for interdisciplinary, open-source cancer research that start speculating with me how to disappear the suffering from cancer on this planet
a piece of exciting news and good idea. At present, it seems very difficult to disappear the suffering from cancer on this planet. As we know, cancer results from many factors, viral, chemical, and physical etc. Although human has made much progress in cancer research, we don't know the corresponding exact mechanism of carcinogenesis of different cancers.
Anyway, your idea is great, but how can we do is worth thinking over.
Yes everyone is thinking about how to defeat this strong enemy of huminty, and every second person knows that causes and factors are mostly human created, so there is need to work in both directions, controlling the prevailing cancers by continuous struggle like what we are doing these days and even more, and stoping other cancers by reducing the causes and factors by what ways its possible.
From the yogic point of view, cancer is a stressed-born disease. Yoga offers specific practices to control the generation of cancer cells. If it is not able to eradicate the cells all together, it will very definitely improves the quality of life of the patients.
From an evolutionary point of view, cancer is neither good nor bad. It is an adaptation to many stresses, including increased food availability, environmental waste, and psychological stress. And I believe that a holistic approach including modern and ancient medicine will be the best way to control cancer development and spread.
More interesting though, in the long time of human history, pressure and crisis have always led to a fundamental breakthrough. I am curious what could be available out of the evolution of cancer?
"Prevention is better than cure". If we act according to this saying by having controls on our habits of food and sex, we can prevent most of the cancers like orophyrangeal cancers, lung cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, cancers of urinogenital tracts etc. Cancer is a multistep process where in each step a number of culprits are involved. Furthermore the etiology of each type of cancer is different, therefore the more the types of cancers the more the comlexities about their etiology and carcinogenesis. So the evolution of cancer is the divergent one and one could not expect any good outcomes as whole but for each type of cancer separately.
