This is what I do.

I prepare Insulin at 0.1 U/ml in advance.

Injection volume into peritoneal of mouse = BW(g)X7.5 ul of 0.1U/ml insulin solution.

you dont, you dilute the insulin so you can take reasonable volume with the amount you plan to give
