An optimistic view suggests tremendous progress in science and technology in the next 50 years.
But in political front it is difficult to predict because of some mad politicians.

It is simply the cycles of human life, any culture reaches the top shall regress and collapse, too many examples about that exists in the history of human kink (the culture of Rome, the culture of Anka, Pharaohs, Chinese.....), this is due to mankind behavior, with injustice and greedy, fall is expected in the next 50 years, with justice and rightness (which do not seem so), progress is expected.

In my opinion, in the next 50 year we should expect a third world war, nuclear war.

Humanity is supposed to be in a continuous progress. There is advancement in all fields in different walks of life. But sometimes, with the conflicts and disputes that exist in different parts of the world, one may feel disappointed and pessimist about the future. One isn't completely sure about the future. Only ALLAH knows about what will happen in the future. Man cannot predict about it. Best regards.

Based ion what happened over the past 50 years, there will be more progress in the next 50 years. However, my concerns relate to the environment and the exploitations of less powerful nations.
I think we may extinct within next 50 years just due to the effects of gathered pollutents of different types.
Undoubtedly.......progress(in all aspects). But whether this progress will be enjoyable or not to all of us..... that is the question.
I personally wish, on a positive gesture, to dream about a beautiful earth.....and all human beings be happier.
