We use preadipose 3T3-F442A murine cell line or better, primary human preadipocytes. These two model systems combine the advantages of allowing evaluation of glucose uptake in terminal adipocytes and evaluation of adipgenic or anti-adipogenic properties in the preadipose state of the cell lineage.
