i need to know why researcher always used this polar polymer for gel polymer electrolyte for Li-ion battery.still i cant get answer.

Dear Kathiravan;
these polar or charged polymer have these sites that help in charge mobility. Non-polar polymers do not have such a feature unless they are filled or dopped with special additives. Regards

Polar polymers such as PVDF,PMMA,PAN,PLA usually have high dielectric constant which can help solvation of lithium salt. Therefore, polar polymers are common used as gel polymer electrolyte matrix.
Most people use PE and PP as raw material of separator. Because PE and PP have special cystallinity, after the manufacture process the manufacturer can make separator with porous and good mechanical strength.
