In literature it has been commonly reported that it is rather difficult to index cementite lamellae due to their low structure factors of its lattice.

But I am interested to monitor LAGBs in a cementite lamellae using EBSD. Is there a procedure to get a reliable index from cementite lamellae?

Somewhere I read we should use very high magnifications (say above 20000x) to be able to get indexing from cementite... but since I slightly etch samples to reveal the pearlitic structures, the oxide layer makes it very difficult to get a sharp image in high magnifications.
