I am using DAMASK software for simulating tensile deformation. I am trying to generate a .geom file using the .ang file. while I am using the command " geom_fromTable v2.0.0 --eulers euler --coordinates pos --phase phase --symmetry hexagonal,cubic --axes -y -x -z name of the file.txt" it's showing that the errors as
"coordinates "pos" need to have two or three dimensions".
"input "euler" needs to have dimension 3."
"phase column "phase" is not scalar".

I am not able to help you with the code base that you are using (i.e. DAMASK 2, which is outdated by now). My suspicion is that you need to transform the plain ANG file into a so-called ASCIItable (see https://damask2.mpie.de/bin/view/Documentation/AsciiTableFormat for the documentation).
Using the current DAMASK 3, this is how you would generate a Grid and (start to generate) a MaterialConfig:
