I am trying to simulte tensile deformation of Cp Ti. I am using hooke's law for elastic region and phenological power law for plastic deformation. Do we have to use any other model to capture the grain shape changes during tensile deformation?
then maybe you hide the neighbouring grains and leave only one grain visible, this is a good way to represent the distortion of a single grain during tensile deformation.
Other software should have similar visualisation options.
The DAMASK has the capability to capture grain shape changes during deformation. I have used same elastic and plastic models as you asked in your question and evaluated the grain shape change qualitatively. You can see my recent publication especially the figure 7 with related description in the text.
