It has been my habit, across several peer-reviewed journal articles, to have a section at the end of the Findings or in the Discussion that directly answer the research questions, i.e. summarizing the relevant findings as they relate to each question.

My theory is that we should present the findings impartially, and then specifically show how they answer the research questions.

But I had a reviewer tell me recently that one should NOT have an "answers to research questions" section because readers should be able to determine the answers from the presentation of the findings without us telling them.
