I will be teaching online classes on the spring semester. Students prepare by reading the textbook and watching online videos, then in the learning management system (LMS) they use discussion groups to show higher-order thinking.

In some ways, this seems like Flipped Learning.

Philosophically (not just in my case) can a 100% online class be taught with Flipped instructional design? If not, why? If so, what advice do you have?
