Often, 3M scotch tape-based peel testing (example https://www.astm.org/Standards/D1876) is used in evaluating nanoparticles coating on solid substrates. What will the force experienced by a nanoparticle in such a test?

Specifically, I immobilize gold or silver nanoparticles by silanization (thiol or amine) or by sputter-deposition on silica. The nanoparticle size will be in the range of 40 to 100 nm.
