If I had a hydrolytically degradable polymer that went through two different sterilization processes and ended up with the same molecular weight reduction, would it degrade at the same rate in both cases?

Eg. If I sterilized PDLG (DL-lactide and Glycolide copolymer) with Ethylene Oxide and e-beam and found say a 10% reduction in molecular weight with both processes, could I expect it to have the same resorption time in both cases? Are there other factors that affect the degradation time that would be different in the two cases?
