Hi everyone,
I have synthesised a CuO nanoparticles via precepitation method using copper acetate salt and NaOH as precepitating agent, the XRD for the resulted powder show that most of it was CuO but there was a second phase of Cu2O in the sample with 19%.
I need to remove or seprate this small amount of Cu2O from CuO and I have no idea how to do that.
one of my colleagues suggested washing the sample with Nitric Acid using the Pochner system but I'm afraid that this would destroy the sample.
So, Can anyone please help me solve that Problem???
Thanks in advance.
