I am working on synthesizing a solid lipid nanoparticle (SLN) loaded with uricase for evaluating its stability and performance. I use imidazole for enzyme purification and the colorimetric activity assay of the enzyme is performed correctly in the presence of imidazole. But I hesitate if the presence of imidazole in protein solution could affect the nanoparticle synthesis process?  Is dialysis necessary for removal of imidazole?"
