The preliminary purpose of using AI in the healthcare industry is to study relationships between clinical procedures and patient consequences. AI applications are applied to techniques such as diagnostic, medicine protocol, pharmaceutical effect, personalized medication, and patient monitoring and care.

As we can see AI is helping us against COVID 19. trace and restrict the spread of it, but it has also increased the process of developing and tracking effective vaccines.

What's interesting to me is exactly as you mentioned, enabling to have a more Personalized approach to medicine. Diagnoses, treatment protocol development, drug development, personalized medicine, and patient monitoring and care are all areas where AI programs are used. Furthermore, NLP applications that can understand and classify clinical documentation are an everyday use of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

AI and Healthcare Industry are made for each other, but the problem is with the accuracy of the models. Though we get 98% + accuracy, we need to introspect the AI ability of the model, else it will be one of those Probability models based on Random truth. The solution to this problem is the use of Fuzzy Logic, to increase more number of levels of the digitized data. With the advancement in processing of digital signals and pre-processing techniques intermediate energy levels can be used to develop these models.
