Conclusion: The academic world is a dream world. What is the bad about are the people who are involved in the process. It is amazing that in such a relation someone can think of a war to refer to that. But this is not a wrong comparison.

It is not only an information war, but also a financial war.It is connected even with the publication of articles, textbooks, participation in the competitions.The strange thing-yesterday it was great to publish your work in one or another journal, today -it's banned.To the article above,"Individuals will continue to "game the system"in an attempt to protect their careers."

I understand the need to increase human hierarchies for many researchers (and other professionals) young .... but these needs are often the origin of matter (sin lower but acceptable considering the times in which we live), or spiritual origin ( and in this case it is the desire of glory, a great sin). I know many scientists who have nothing interesting press release (or even worse than that) and still pay their articles in journals with high impact factor and rated conference. I therefore consider myself as well as other researchers must publish where our products are received with interest, and their effects are seen in the dialogue with readers and relations of mutual knowledge results. I believe that the value and talent will come to light anyway (even if not in life) .... but beyond the true owners will see ..... Perhaps Malthus was right ... many individuals has the right Consequently their quality and decrease exponentially growing need for moral hierarchy .... and .... But you see ... all human hierarchies will crumble .... much has already collapsed and any attempt human ... assessment that ignores the divine laws (clearly written in the holy books) is doomed .... but mere disappearances but not before it and pervert it ...

Maybe we do not understand and can not divine laws we want to understand: the golden age ....  silver age ... bronze age .... the age of earth .... walking or sieve selection of spirits ... .

One can speak of war and impact ... But I (and do not say first, I thought and said as many before me), I think it is a small battle in a larger war (and who should not have go off): the war between spirit and matter .... unfortunately many people being forced into compromise ... or investigator (and any other man) is a spiritual entity, transparency is like a window through which, when it is clean, beautiful echoes divine truths scientific discoveries .... they are true ... we can fight keeping windows clean ... and then more ideas, the truth will shine through the windows of our souls trapped in reaching these fortresses materials. .. and it may make possible easier a man with a lower education level ... holy books say ...

I feel that ideas (thoughts true, beautiful and good) is born of God, not of man ... and reach humans through human souls (windows) ... they become of us all, and that for an idea of income has only merit a window that was clean enough for light to pass through it ....

Therefore, once again, have to limit their impact indices ... the material universe and those who cannot get rid of it, although many would like ... I think ultimately divine ideas can be recognized without the help index ... impact could be hidden anywhere ... I think the worst are hiding these ideas (worse to use them for evil purposes) or intends to sell ... therefore, do not quit, you should publish anywhere and not to encourage trade ideas, especially if they are of divine origin .... other ... on the contrary ... we are living a moment here and now with this scale of values .... but in reality are intended for eternity ! Then ... what difference does the hierarchy (human) for a moment?

Dear @Ali, have you noticed that there is no more Impact Factor at Researchgate?Instead, they have introduced H-factor.

Dear Ljubomir, yes I noticed that RG has removed Impact Factor. I thought that it was an error, so I contacted them and they confirmed it. On the question Ali asked, the war is on-going between different stakeholders (e.g., publishers, Universities, Faculties). While it is intense in some parts of the world, it is mild in others. In the UK for instance, grants/funding, employment, etc. are based on the impact factors of the journals where you have published. Here, early career researchers are at risk of not being funded.

A citation improves not only by Impact factor journal (Released by Thompson Reuters), but also by Indexed & abstracted in Pubmed/ Medline, SCOPUS, Thompson Reuters, as well as by Good publishing houses like Elsevier, Springer, PLoS, Nature house, John Willey, Wiley-Blackwell, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Taylor & Francis LTD, some of the journals of Wolter Kluwert, deGruyter.
