Hi everyone!
I did an immunofluorescent staining for a cytochrome enzyme which is located in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and I expected to see the red color in the cytoplasm. But as you can see in the figure, the nucleus is also red and it has confused me.
Could this be due to the connection between the ER and the nuclear envelope?
Can anyone help me with the reason?
