I am did hybridization of the Illumina HT12 v4 bead array today.

I am supposed to heat the High Temp Wash Buffer to 55C overnight to wash the bead array the next day. However, I have forgotten about it and by the time I remembered it, the facility has closed for the day.

Is it ok to heat the High Temp Wash Buffer in the morning as long as it reaches 55C. I am not sure why Illumina requires the buffer to be heated overnight. I tried to look for the components of the buffer (via SDS searching and google) but could not find any information on this buffer or why overnight heating is necessary.

If anyone have any idea on this buffer and whether it is necessary to heat it overnight, can you please help explain. The best I can do for now is to heat the buffer early in the morning and wash the bead array later the day.

Thanks

Millie
