If it is not possible to publish the same publication in both forms, i.e. in online electronic form on the Internet and in printed form, which form of publishing you choose and for whom?
What are the advantages of publishing in a classic form, ie in the form of printed magazines, books, monographs and other publications?
What are the advantages of online publishing on the Internet, in electronic form, which is not in the form of a printed publication?

Well, I can say also this: A hard bound book I want to hold in my hand, for it's going to have a longevity that is vastly superior to a journal paper printed through the printer room next door.
I would rephrase the question, as it is currently so that plenty of the scientific journals that I either represent as an editor, and/or as an author, in many cases have both options. In my case, I do not need more than the pdf, as I can print it myself if I please. I do remember when I was a PhD student, seeing my colleagues - and eventually me, too, getting their reprints with a neutral light blue cover with a "window" open to the title and author information. I do not need that, no. Let's save some trees.
It is however a very different story if we talk about books - I want books to be hardbound, with a cool cover picture, and so on.
What are your goals for publishing? Money? Influence? Career advancement? Other?
These Q need to be asked and answered--questions that we in rhetoric term "audience" issues--before making a decision.

Most of my tecnical hard bound books are in boxes in the attic. If I can't find what I want electronically I will mke a trip to the attic

I am not an editor, but I would say to publish today in print might cost you, whereas online would be much easier and reach just as many people.
Personally, I prefer classic print. Why? Habit and comfort. Regards,
I don't mind, but it seems that people are reading much more online than paper journals.
