Usually, every good journal publish invited reviews and quite few ask for your CV. I do agree with journals' policy regarding this matter and have no objection at all. But, my simple curiosity is to know that why journals always need to do so and screen the article on the basis of author/s?? If the content of the article is reasonable and idea is interesting and quite publishable then I think, no matter who is submitting, it must be considered and peer-reviewed.
