can you specify the metal to be powdered and the ball "material" used.

Generally The increase in rpm with smaller ball size wont give better results.

For smaller diameter cascading motion is difficult to achieve and impact force is less too. In my practical experience, larger diameters are preferable for grinding and mixing application.

It is mainly depends on ball to powder (i.e material) ratio and Ball diameter & material.......
