What is the usefulness of the use of insects in food alternatives to humans and Farm animals as protein alternatives?
When I utilised silkworm moths as the animal protein source in the rainbow trout feed then the results obtained in terms of survival and growth was not up to the bench mark but in case of the utilisation of the silkworm pupae as the animal protein source the result was quite innovative and superior to the shrimp meals diet.

insects'larva can be use directly as fish food, , adults cans also be use directly or after transformation as complement in fish feeding
