Are you just learning R? I am not sure if the problem is with R, or if it is with morphological measurements. Is this an analysis where you have 20 character states from 45 species of ant, and you need help developing classification trees, or is this an analysis where you have an experiment and have taken morphological measurements to evaluate the nutritional effect of a fertilizer treatment on suitability of a host plant for insect development.
