I would like to ask if anyone has captured something like the karyotype picture below. Because this is the first time I have met the tetrads within the lymphocytes (somatic cells), where all 23 homologous chromosomes are joined together (I posted just a part of the picture). Has anyone met something like this before !

how did you prepare chromosomes from lymphocytes? It seems that gonads were mixed into suspension. I saw something similar on my chromosomal preparation (unintentionally I generated gonadal suspension instead of the aim of kidney suspension preparation from small fish).

I prepared the chromosomes from the peripheral Human blood (whole Blood) which then was collected in a heparin tube.
This looks like diplochromosomes. It is an aberrant situation, so either your sample was affected by some exogenic mutagens or your cytogenetic treatment induced that. It is not standard. Search "diplochromosomes" on Google Scholar.
