First let me congratulate the team share in that comprehensive site.
Second: there are many hyperlink which enrich the site and at the same time the user might confuse with those many division
third: many of tools mentioned are not open access.
Fourth: it is very good point that there is a contact way for person in-charge in each part

Hi Rolando, liked the guide and learned a few things. As I have written a few guides myself, I know the hardest thing to get right is the first few sentences. Sometimes you need to be lead in gently to the topic. I say this because the first box is a series of definitions which are very direct and it would help me if I were to come to it for the first time to have a short narrative, to string the definitions together and explain why they are so relevant and important. It might help too if you could link out to an e-book or text that provided some broader explanation for the data challenged, a kind of starters guide, if one exists for those who might need it. Hope this helps.
This is an excellent resource. I have only one minor suggestion, in your Data Analysis Tools section, you may want to add some text and a link to the R Programming Language, as this is quickly becoming a de-facto standard statistical tool in all fields of science, engineering, and data analysis.

First of all I should say your guide was quit informative. Thank you for sharing this information with us. Just as a suggestion, I think your guide would become magnificent if you could add reference or literature management tools to your tool section, as well. In many research projects the accumulation of papers, reports, standards and text books which should be revised in literature survey phase, causes many troubles for researchers. It is good to know reference manager softwares that can organize these texts and create searchable databases for the researchers. For example Mendeley software (www.mendeley.com) is one of the best tools in this field.
