For the knowledge of mine and people with me
The oldest herbarium specimen at CAL is 300 years + from Australia (Cyperaceae).
Kindly mention details of the specimens
Kindly contact Dr V P Prasad. He has published a paper in Nelumbo on the said specimen. If you need his email id let me know.
Google search reveals that there are older specimens in some herbaria of Rome.
I overlooked your question. You can contact the herbaria in Sweden for the first herbarium specimen.
I guess it is likely to be pasted in a book wherever it is deposited.
Cow dung/urine are considered sacred and useful in various ways in India.
