I work with Start-ups in Food & Agriculture space in India. My question is, why the Food & Agri Start-ups are mostly by Tech people & not Agri grads?

Why is it that Agriculture Graduates in India are not attracted to explore Stetting-up Agri Start-Ups, when graduates from other streams are coming in large numbers to work in the Agri space?

Lack of awareness as well as non-preference over ordinary graduates (non agri. streams) are two main reasons to best of my knowledge.
