I wish to conduct phytase zymogram analysis of few phytate solubilizing microbes isolated previously. I want to know,
1. at least how much broth culture is needed to prepare ?
2. how to precipitate the extracellular enzymes?
following answers
Hi
1- 20 mL of broth culture is more than enough as you only need 20 micro grams of protein to load.
2- Use ammonium sulfate for precipitation.
Hope this helps
Thank you sir. Can you give me the outline of the method of precipitating protein by ammonium sulphate ?
Instead of checking only the mRNA level, I want to check the active protein level of MMP-1 in Liver tissue from mice. How can I do that?
