Maybe molecular techniques in forensic science or you can look for polymorpshim in some immunity (or other) gene which influence to carcinoma.

Treatment of diseases using nature materials such as plants , algae and fungi etc
Why not study transgenic plants producing proteins for treatment of diseases. Examples: specific antibodies , antigens for vaccines, hormones (erythropoietin, insulin,somatotropin) or interferon alpha. For proteins that need glycosylation for their activity it is also possible to introduce in such plants enzymes that are going to "humanize" the peptides.
Biotechnology will be applied in most of natural sciences.Like in chemistry,biology,microbiology, agriculture(plant and animal)and a lot..
You can also work on to define health status of patient by using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis and its parameters. Just like ECW Ratio, edema, phase angle and segmental edema etc.. İf you need any help on this, currently ı am working on this subject so ı can kindly help you
