I used dialysis membrane for the separation of reactants from product, but I learnt that DCC is insoluble in water, so it didn't emigrate to the outside. My product is also soluble in DMSO, just like the DCC, so I'm not able to separate them by filtration. I would also like to mention that I have already used the product in synthesizing nanoparticles, and it worked pretty well. But I just wanna make sure, it is acceptable to do so.
Well it seems that you are looking for approval. This will not happen. The answer depends on the use of your nanoparticles.
Yes, I am looking for approval, as well as a rationale. I'm sorry I couldn't get how the use of nanoparticles would make difference. My nanoparticles are for brain drug delivery. I would be grateful if you could clarify how it makes difference.

Try to use EDC as coupling agent. The bi-product is dissolve in water, thus your product can be separated by partitioning or filtration.
