I used collagen in acetic acid to coat flasks, washed and added RPMI. The medium turned yellow. Has anyone experienced this or have suggestions?

Hello,

I used collagen dissolved in acetic acid to coat the surface of flasks. After completing the coating process, I washed the flasks with PBS before adding RPMI medium. However, when I added RPMI medium, the color of the medium turned yellow.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation, or does anyone have suggestions on how to address this?
