I will be driving these in the back of a U haul truck across several states. It is imperative that the samples stay frozen until they can be put into a -80 freezer.  On line I have read 10 lbs of dry ice for 24 hours but nothing seems to specify the amount per unit of samples?  I did see that if you pack large amounts of sample boxes together they will stay frozen longer and will potentially require less dry ice as they insulate themselves some.  The coolers I have are 1-2.5 inches thick so the insulation is pretty decent. Thanks!
