The spectra I got contains the main peaks. However, the peak at 16.5 is very sharp instead of being broad and also it is well-resolved. is there any explanation>? Also, the peak at 14.7 is not so clear. Does it need deconvolution? How is it done in origin pro?
Is there an explanation why it is not exactly like those published in literature?

Why the peak at 16.5 is so sharp ?
Generally microcrystalline celullose or nanocellulose is obtained by strong acid hydrolysis into the form of white crystalline powders. The highest crystallinity may be obtained on MCC due to the removal of amorphous alpha cellulose region with acid hydrolysis. High crystallinity indicates an ordered compact molecular structure, when the crystalline cellulose content is high (viz. diffraction angle 2θ ie 14.84, 20.20, 22.63 and 34.50 are more pronounced). Is this treated or untreated sample?. In another way lignin may contribute crystalline phases.

This sample is bleached and then hydrolysed by acid treatment.
This sample is free of lignin. Also, it is free of hemicellulose.
