I need information about simple or complex methods for analysis and dosage of heavy metals in medicinal plants.

Dosage of heavy metals in medicinal plants depend upon various factors depend upon type of plants as well as types of heavy metals.
I think its also depends which type of heavy metal you want to analysis. For example, in AAS (atomic absorption spectrophotometer) there are graphite and furnace method for analysis of different kind heavy metals and metalloids .
And the extraction method also varied with different type of heavy metals. For example; total As and As speciation extraction are so different from each other.
So, first you have to find which heavy metal you would like to measure, then you can look for methods to analysis it.
Leslie is right. It depends on what part of the plant you seek, roots, flowers,seeds etc...
anr the extraction method, infrusion, whole extraction by acids, ant the type of metal, for example for Hg you need to extract al temperature lower than 50ºC an in HNO3 solution..
