Geels, F. P. (1995). Pseudomonas tolaasii control by kasugamycin in cultivated mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus). Journal of Applied Bacteriology 79 (1): 38-42.
You can use fresh cubes (1-day-old A. bisporus) excised from the caps with around 2 cm apart (to avoid cross contamination) . Test bacterial suspension (10 8 CFU ml-1 of your isolate of P. tolaasii could be simply spotted over the surface of cubes (No. ?) in comparison to control. Check daily your inoculated cubes incubated at 22°C for color change (mainly tissue' browning scale). Kindly have a look on my published paper in 2012 (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24031938).
