i have plant extract once i transfer the bottles i lost some of the solution ? what i can do ? does this will affect my results?
I think you are working on the synthesis of Ag NPs. Don't use the solution which you lost. Used the solution of bottle. Preparation of plant extract in not a difficult job.
It affected the total extract/ extracted weight, however if you dry the extraction and use the effect of the dried extract, it dosnt affected your result because you deal with effect of a certain amount of the extract
If the extract lost to the water bath, you can re-extract from water with immiscible organic solvent then evaporate the solvent and mix it with the mother extract.
But if escaped, it is not effect on the type of the components but affecting the quantity ( percentage of the extracted components , decrease).
I think it will not affect the qualitative analysis BUT can interfere with the quantitative detail.
If you want to calculate quantitatively you have to re-extract, I think it is not difficult .
