I have an old bottle of Canadian balsam that has dried out. Can I recover it?

I found an almost full old bottle of Canadian balsam, but it has totally dried out. Before buying a new one, I would like to know if I can use something to recover it. Xylene maybe?

Dear Alice, you can use xylene, but it's toxic, so it's safer to use essential oils like orange oil or lavender oil as solvents. They should be easier to obtain than xylene.
