I use quercentin as a standard and reacting the sample with NaOH, AlCl3 and NaNO2

We can not answer precisely, without having any idea about your sample and the extraction solvent!
Aluminium chloride in presence of sodium hydroxide may form insoluble aluminium hydroxide.
Dear Arifianti, Is sample is clearly soluble? what solvent you used for the extraction as well as to re-dissolve the extract? because sometimes due the issue of sample solubility these kind problem may occur.
Use five different concentration according to your need and make up with 10% DMSO for suppose 10 microlitre of sample is taken from the stock 1mg/mL make up it to 500 microlitre by adding 490 microlitre of 10% DMSO. Then add 4.3ml of 80% ethanol, 100 microlitre of potassium acetate and aluminium nitrate. Incubate at RT for 30min and OD can be taken at 415nm
@alessandrovenditti i also have the same problem. But i dunno if it from alcl and naoh reaction since my blank (metanol in the same procedure, add with nano2, alcl3, naoh didn't result in white cloudy solution, but my samples )
