Many research works presented the yield of their product after reaction using either GC-MS or GC-FID without stating clearly on their manuscript how they arrived on the said values. Pls I need help on yield evaluation procedure using either GCMS or GCFID data.

In general, I think determining the yield by GC/LC, MS and even NMR should be avoided, at least in synthetic organic chemistry. It might be useful in some cases (like reaction conditions screening) if we are interested in relative numbers; most of the time these data have very little value to be given in the publication.
To determine the yield/quantity of a particular compound or group of compounds using GC-MS, take a look at the table of chat from the GC Data; that contains PK, Retention Time (RT) Area%, Library ID, Ref and CAS.
BY Comparing with the MS spectra (using RT), Carefully identify the compounds present and note their Area % (it gives the quantity of each compound in %). NOTE: your compound my be detected at more than one RT, so just sum up the Area %.
