I used descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney tests (male/female responses), The Kruskal Walis test (3 different job title categories), and was considering which other test I could use. I also wasn't sure if the distribution is considered normal because the sample was so small. The standard deviations for all questions/dimensions were between -1 and 1, which I believe means that 68% of the distribution is close to the mean. I'm confused about whether that means that the distribution is normal, which I don't believe to be true based on the sample size?
To confirm the data structure in terms of the distribution., get the parametric values and apply Z-score
The normal distribution can be checked in spss when you go to the descriptive tests and frequency tests.One the histograms prove the distribution is normal then you can choose a test based on that

If you do the Shapiro-Wilk test from the "SPSS> Analyze> Explore" section, you will learn whether your data is normally distributed. If p-value> 0.05, the data (for each variable) are normally distributed. Otherwise, it is understood that it is not distributed normally.
