Has anyone observed a band just below 18s when extracting RNA from mouse bone?

Hi everyone,

We are having issues extracting RNA from mouse femur and vertebrae. Basically, we are getting a band just below the 18s band at least half the time and haven't been able to identify why. Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, what did you do to fix it?
