There is a considerable discrepancies between the number of citations reported by Researchgate it is usually lower than googlescholar. Scopus on the other hand reports much lower citations compared to Researchgate. I know that scopus is more restricted in its approach. However, once an article is cited in literature, irrespective of the quality of journal its citation exists? are there any data qualifiers to assume which citation index is correct, since H-index across google scholar, researchgate and scopus varies.
