Glucosamine can be detected using low wavelength (205nm) due to lack of double bond pi electrons on an amino 4.6x150mm column with 5 micrometer packing. pH needs to be higher closer to 7.5 using 3.5g dibasic K2HPO4 buffer 70% aq: 30% acetonitrile.
