I've done something similar in the past. The workflow I used is this:

1- Use an edge detection algorithm to extract the boundaries of your domain and save it as an independent image.

2- Convert the image containing the edges you have extracted into vector graphics (SVG).

3- Import the vector graphics to COMSOL, which will generate a set of connected vectors/boundaries.

4- Remove duplicates, some vectors may be duplicated in the previous steps.

5- Use the set of vectors to partition a domain created in COMSOL.

6- Remove the void areas (Since your fibres will result in a connected domain that is trivial).

7- Simulate ;)

Thank you for your response. I have tried similar. I have used inkspace and separated the image with edges. Then converted the image into a dxf file to import into COMSOL. Unfortunately, I got something shown in the first image.
