I am seeking guidance on how to confirm whether my bacterium belongs to the genus Lactococcus rather than Enterococcus before proceeding with molecular identification. Are there specific techniques or tests that you recommend for this preliminary classification?

Ther is commen test, ability to growth in 45°C

Enterococcus can grow in 45°C but lactococcus can't.
