I am not clearly understand the difference between multivariate and multi variate analysis?

when I am exercising some statistical analysis I found some confusion on multivariate and multivariable analysis ?

if there are certain number of independent variables (X1, X2, .....,Xp) (more than one) and only one outcome (Y )then it is called multiple linear regression model.

if there are more than one outcome variables (Y1, Y2, ..... Yn) then it is called multivariate regression model

now multi variate and multivariate are both same

however multi variable and multivariate are two different things
