Protein purification strategy.
If both proteins are globular, I don't think there is any chance of separating them using standard SEC.
thanks for response.......as both proteins are globular in nature, it's difficult to separate from SEC......Can u plz suggest me any other chromatography method????
Try running the proteins on native PAGE. If they separate well there you can try ion exchange.
Its really tough to separate so closely related proteins. Dr. Stefansson is right...ion exchange can help in this regard.
