My ancestors originated in Lorrha and my father was born in Ballymacegan in 1900 and died in 2000. I am interested in the ruins of the old McAoghain Law School which was adjacent to the Ballymacegan House in Ballymacegan and not far from Redwood Castle seat of the McAoghains. My great grandmother Elizabeth Kennedy owned the land surrounding Redwood Castle. I am interested in restoring some of the heritage in Ballymacegan and possibly establishing a Center for Dialogue. I visited the site when Professor Nollaig O Muraille launched the Great Book of Irish Genealogies in 2004 and the school windows which were in Church style were still visible. Are there any maps or designs or geophysical scans available for the site?
