Electrospinning of PVDF/HFP with SN presents various challenges:

1. SN is a small, low-molecular-weight molecule with limited polymer-like characteristics. It doesn’t contribute much to the viscoelastic properties necessary for stable jet formation in electrospinning. This can lead to a lack of fiber formation, inconsistent morphology, or bead formation during the electrospinning process.

2.SN may not be fully compatible with solvents typically used for PVDF/HFP, which could lead to phase separation during electrospinning. This separation can disrupt fiber morphology, making it difficult to achieve uniform, stable fibers, as PVDF/HFP may precipitate out before effective incorporation of SN.

3. SN is often included to improve ionic conductivity, especially in electrolyte applications. Electrospinning may not provide sufficient loading of SN to meet conductivity requirements due to its inability to support a high concentration of SN within the fiber matrix.
