I will be using the yeast Kluyveromyces marxianus. Basically the procedure I was taught was to place to the PCS (weigh it first) into the broth containing the yeast (YM medium) and leave there for 24 hours, after 24 hours weigh the pcs to determine the amount of yeast on the pcs.
I am wondering if there is a better procedure for immobilization of yeast using PCS. Thank You.
